Sashi Bhusan Memorial Hospital has evolved into a multispeciality hospital with 100 beds. Initially known for its unique focus as the only dedicated Plastic Surgery Hospital in Odisha, it has now expanded its services to cover a broad spectrum of medical specialties. Over the past nine years, the hospital has catered to more than 15,000 patients, addressing a wide range of medical needs.

In its early years, the hospital specialized in plastic surgery, performing precise and sophisticated procedures such as trauma care, correction of congenital and acquired deformities, aesthetic surgeries, and brachial plexus surgeries. Notably, the hospital also provided free surgeries for cleft lip and palate patients through the Smile Train Programme, benefiting over 4,300 individuals from various parts of Odisha.

Founded by Dr. Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak, the Chief Consultant Plastic Surgeon, the hospital aimed to enhance the quality of plastic surgery while making it affordable and raising awareness. Since its inception on January 9, 2015, the hospital has treated a significant number of cases, reflecting its commitment to medical excellence. Located near Balikuda level crossing, approximately 2 km from Link Road Square and 6 km from Cuttack Railway Station, Sashi Bhusan Memorial Hospital continues to serve as a pivotal healthcare institution in the region.
